Visiting Our Church
We welcome visitors every day to St Mary’s New Church (the big one). Whether you want to explore Sir George Gilbert Scott’s magnificent building or simply find a moment of quiet from busy Stoke Newington you are most welcome.
The New Church is usually open from around 10.00 am to 5.00 pm in the summer; 4.00 pm in winter. Entry is by the doors on Stoke Newington Church Street on the north side of the church. Sometimes it may be necessary to keep the church closed because of the hosting of events or the availability of church officers to keep the building safe.
