Accessibility
St Mary’s aspires to be a place where all can feel at home. With that in mind, we recognise that our buildings are not ideal in meeting everyone’s needs and are working on improving the accessibility of services and events.
Step-free access
There is step-free access into both the New and the Old churches. However, a wheelchair user may need assistance in negotiating the ancient, Tudor Old Church. The main body of the New Church has a wide central aisle with ample spaces for wheelchairs around the church.
The St Mary’s Centre is fully accessible via the main entrance. However, it is not at present, possible for a wheelchair user to access the courtyard at the back of the Centre.
Washroom
The Centre has an accessible toilet and shower.
Access for deaf or hard of hearing people
There is a loop system in the New Church and a PA system. Our sound system is a little old but we do our best with it and are planning improvements.
Online
For those who are unable to join us at church, our 11.15am Sunday service is live-streamed and can be viewed via this link: https://www.facebook.com/stmarystokenewington/live/.
